NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) – bail hearing one man accused of each parent – putting to death of his father – assault Tiverton was postponed to the next month.

VFW murder trial gets under way

FAIRHAVEN, MASS.(WPRI) – a trial has started for a man accused in connection with a murder in the outside of a local VFW post.

Thomas Opozda is accused of stabbing Robert Williams killed outside of the VFW Fairhaven April 2008.Ouverture declarations in trial began Monday.

Prosecutors say Williams attempted to break a fight when he was killed.Two other men have also been poignardés in the brawl.

According to the New Bedford Standard Times, the Opozda trial should last about a week.

Murder trial to continue Monday

PROVIDENCE, IR (WPRI) – the 26-year-old murder trial Raymond Clements is set to continue on Monday.

Clements is accused of being one of the two men who killed two women by burning their body inside a House.

In the Providence journal, is charged with helping burn Providence home in 2007.

Another man, Anthony j. Carter has already admitted to the killing of women and is in prison.

Prosecutors say that women were trying to sing men.

Taunton man pleads not guilty of murder

The son-in-law found dead at his home last week Taunton man was ordered held without bail after pleading no step guilty of murder.

Prosecutors said to Richard Carreiro-Forbes arraignment Thursday that the defendant had planned the death of his father-in-the law and recruited others to participate.So far, that someone else is facing charges in connection with the death of 59, Francis Douglas Carreiro.

Prosecutors said there was tensions between the victim and the suspect, who lived in a halves different same duplex .Carreiro-Forbes and his wife had tried to evict him in spring.

Carreiro was beaten and shot in his August 21 home, but the police believe that he had been dead four days.

Suspect’s lawyer said that his client should be allowed to contact with his family.

Two men have been charged in murder Taunton man, Bristol County District Attorney said Wednesday.

Francis Carreiro, 59, was found dead in Ave its 16 seconds.21 Août.enquêteurs home were not told how he died.

Prosecutors said Richard Carreiro-Forbes, 29, Taunton has been charged with murder and will be arraigned Thursday.

A second man, Justin Bearce, 23, Taunton, was accused of accessory to murder after the fait.Il was arraigned Wednesday and bail was set at $ 50,000 in cash.
