KINGSTOWN RI (WPRI) – a new study from the University of Rhode Island said television makes people fear disease.

The study is published in the September society and mass communication magazine issue.

Its author, Yinjiao Ye is Professor Assistant in communication studies.

His research said heavy dose of medical content in the programming today leads to a concern over on personal health and can also reduce the satisfaction of someone in life.

Millions watch medical shows like House.Evidence showed viewers knowledge to acquire such shows, getting people to think they are more likely to suffer disease presented on television.

Charlestown man allegedly makes City Hall threats

Charlestown man has been charged with driving sprawl for allegedly threatening remarks at the City Hall, including threats “kill someone.”

Police say Ladd Rollin 41 years upset last month when you deny a permit to install pipe work and hooking up a boiler to bio-oven.

According to the police report, the outbreak was seen by several employees of the City Hall.

Ladd says the Sun stream it became angry, because he was counting on the oven to heat his domicile.Il said he punched his feet but never made threats.

It has since received a permis.Il is scheduled to be arraigned on 9 September.
