NBC 10 has learned that a Pawtucket fireman charged with rape of a girl of 16 years has been placed on leave.

Cody Reed, 38, was charged with two counts of sexual assault in court Tuesday and is now held pending bail.

Investigators said nine-year veteran assaulted the daughter he encountered in the city, at least twice more than two ans.Il could face more charges.

Men charged with murder Taunton

Two men have been charged in murder Taunton man, Bristol County District Attorney said Wednesday.

Francis Carreiro, 59, was found dead in Ave its 16 seconds.21 Août.enquêteurs home were not told how he died.

Prosecutors said Richard Carreiro-Forbes, 29, Taunton has been charged with murder and will be arraigned Thursday.
