PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – a reversal on route 95 North Providence caused traffic important jam to Warwick border to the shuttle on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred at exit 24 near Avenue Branch of the verse 6: 30 pm

7: 30 A.m., traffic on the busiest road in the State was saved Cranston and Warwick.

8: 40 A.m., there was no word on injuries or the cause of the substitution.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – eyewitness News has confirmed a new surgical error at Rhode Island Hospital where a pair of tweezers were discovered within the body of a patient, approximately three months after the initial surgery.

According to Annemarie Beardsworth to the Ministry of health in Rhode Island, the patient underwent surgery on 13 July.

October 15, diagnostic imaging has been done for a non-related problem .c ‘ is then doctors discovered grippers, who were inside the abdomen of the person.

The accident is the latest in a string of what the Department of health called a “disturbing pattern”.

Also Tuesday, the Department of Health Rhode Island sentenced to a fine Rhode Island Hospital $ 300,000 fine citing hospital for failing to follow the policies and do not adequately reporting staff address issues that could lead to medical errors.

InterLink project began green, T.F.

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – opening ceremony took place on Wednesday morning to honor the completion of the first phase of construction for the InterLink at T.F. Green Airport.

Governor Donald Carcieri attended the event with u.s. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Rep Jim Langevin, Warwick Scott Avedisian Mayor and other officials.

The InterLink is a facility designed to facilitate access for cars, buses and trains Airport eventually.

Garage, located on the Jefferson boulevard and the bridge extends Road Post Office at the airport was launched on Wednesday.Commuter train service should begin before the end of the year.

The name “Interlink” was designed by students from Bryant University.

Son charged in the murder of mother in court

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A North Providence man accused of the murder of his mother is due back to the Tribunal for indictment Wednesday.

Anthony Maciocio Jr., 43 years old, was charged with respect to the murder of Mary Ann Maciocio.

The 63 – year-old, woman’s body was discovered in the sound in April, Greenville Avenue home.

The authorities say that his death was caused by blunt trauma forces at the head.

Prov. rear suspect murder due to the Tribunal

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – a local man accused of strangling woman Providence to death is due back in court on Wednesday.

Policy say Victor Onishi, 30 years old, is responsible for the death of Lisbeth Catalan.

The Catalan body was discovered in his apartment Chalkstone, Avenue in July.

Onishi was held without bail since his arrest.

According to his family, Onishi became obsessed with Catalan, the two end with a short-term relationship.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – a new report says Rhode Island isn’t the friendliest State for businesses.

The report of the tax Foundation, explains Rhode Island ranks among the ten worst climates the entreprises.Il tax was ranked 42nd worst in 50.

This ranking is actually an improvement over last year, when Rhode Island ranked 44th worse.

New York was estimated to be the worst for 2010.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Senator and State real estate lawyer Christopher b. Maselli has been charged with another account of mortgage fraud, 12 target researchers have learned.

Maselli, a Democrat to two mandates of Johnston, is today facing eight counts of fraud bancaire.Les federal prosecutors say the 38 year old forged bank documents and tax and lied about income to obtain loans-$ 1.7 million up from a previous estimate of $ 1.5 million.

The most recent number accuses the use of a member of the family as a borrower straw Maselli, filed Tuesday.This person has not indicated in the documents of the Court.

Maselli has pleaded not guilty to seven counts in juin.Procureurs say starting in 2005, it inflates its income to obtain personal loans and mortgages and to buy a Lexus seen.

JOHNSTON, RI (WPRI) – a mail carrier was arrested for larceny, charges after it was stolen cash cards to deliver.

The Postal Service of the United States said that Richard Fiske was suspended from his duties.He was arrested by the police of Johnston Tuesday.

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) – cars illegally passing school bus stopped at Portsmouth, will soon be taken before the camera.

The Committee School of Portsmouth voted Tuesday to install a school bus in the city of video surveillance in direct.Chaque bus system will be equipped with camera, thereby saving cars illegally passing when clignotent.Le bus fire footage will be sent to the police.

It is unknown when the camera system is installed.
